Usually named peat moss or potting soil is the standard for houseplants, but it can be too dense for most houseplants, although it can work alone just fine, adding some Perlite or fancier ingredients can make your plants happier.
White lightweight little pearls that make the potting soil less dense, hence providing more air flow for the plants. Wildly available in my experience.
Plant fertilizer is a huge world. As a beginner, I recommend using it after getting used to plant care first, since some fertilizers can be quite strong. For more info click here
There are many natural ways to fight houseplants pests, I think sprinkling some cinnamon on the top layer of the soil can prevent a lot of pests' issues. If you plant have pest, try submerging it completely in water to drown the pests. You can also use neem oil to prevent and treat pest issues, although its smell can be too strong. Insecticidal soap is not wildly available from my experience, but it is an option.
